This vintage mail order pattern helps you make a great dress or house dress with 4 sleeve styles, long, 3/4, short or cap, for a 46″ bust – a nice large style. The dress has a full button front with princess lines, waist tie and triangle pockets.

This unused mail-order pattern has 11 perforated tissue paper pieces, 1 double-sided instruction sheet on unbleached paper & a 2-C pattern envelope both with discoloring, the envelope having some tears at the top. This includes a protective archival sleeve or bag & a pattern folder with tips. Please see photos for quality.

This is a slim fit style. The princess lines of the house dress can be fit well to the body.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the pattern instruction sheet. The original pieces are perforated tissue paper and should be handled with care. The instruction sheet has cutting instructions, size chart, material useage chart & the process of construction with some tips. The envelope has a drawing of the style.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
- For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
- Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
