This beautiful pattern includes a military-style dress in 2 versions. Something wonderful to play with – use stripes effectively or make it look noir in a dark rayon. The four piece skirt has two pleats at each side-front and joins blouse waistline. Blouse gathered or darted below shoulder yokes, and sectional pockets are optional. This used dress pattern includes 13 perforated tissue paper pieces, one instruction sheet on unbleached paper with repairs and the original two colour envelope with slight discoloring.
Please see photos for quality. Patterns are always shipped in a protective archival sleeve or bag for storage.
· Material: None given, but linen, cottons, rayons or jerseys are classic forties materials.

The dress is a fully, fitted style.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the envelope front. The original pieces are perorated tissue paper and should be handled with care. The instruction sheet has a cutting chart and the sewing instructions. The envelope back has back view of styles, a text description of styles, a guide to pattern pieces, material requirements and sewing notions.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
*For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
*Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
