simplicity 4775; ©1943; miss 14; bust 32″: from 1943, this 2 piece pattern consisting of a blouse and jumper dress in 2 versions, is a fun and versatile addition to your wardrobe. This 1940s vintage, factory folded pattern helps you create a fantastic piece of fashion history. It’s easy-to-wear, adding a great touch to any forward-thinking wardrobe, looking fashionable in soft pastels with bright colored bra tops or fine knit tops underneath. you can achieve a dark look with black linen or wool and a blouse of batist, dark lace, or black silk.

the blouse is styled with a forward shoulder seam and fitted at the waistline with tucks. style I has a trim notched collar, and a purchased tie may be worn with style III.

the jumper features long or short sleeves, a gathered waistline, and a front pleated skirt. the designer styled I and III with a deep V-neckline. style II includes a smart open neckline and a side button opening. a patch pocket can trim any of the styles.
