simplicity #9414; ©1971; miss 16; bust 38″: this is a great vintage simplicity pattern for a “JIFFY” zipper front beach or pool dress, sleeveless and collarless with patch pockets, a square neckline and side slits. it can be made mini or maxi (short or ankle length). a great design for applique and patchwork.
i have seen beach or pool dresses in california made of lace or crochet but also hawaiian prints. i also think this maxi dress in 100% cotton nicki could look great. if french terry can’t be found, maybe a bio jersey for sweats.
QUALITY:
