This oriental pj design is great for lounging or sleeping. the style is classicaly cool. This butterick pattern #2809 is a restored 1940s vintage pattern for a pajama in chinese style with mandarin coat, slit at the sides. This style is also super for silk or rayon quilting.
View A closes with frogs and has a lovely short, stand-up collar. View B is bound with ribbon or braid, is buttoned down the side, and has one pocket. Waistband trousers. This design uses circular shoulder pads, the instructions for these are included.

*I have restored, repaired, and pressed all the patterns when needed. Restored means I have redrawn any missing pieces where possible. I additionally make repairs to prevent further damage, always using archival tape. Finally, I press and fold the patterns and store them in archival sleeves or bags to prevent further deterioration.
