This vintage 40s pyjama pattern includes 8 perforated tissue paper pieces, one instruction sheet printed on unbleached paper with pencil markings and the original 2-colour envelope with discoloration, some wear and pencil on the back.

· Material: no suggestions, but cotton double gauze, cotton flannel, cotton batiste, lightweight linen, rayon or silk & jerseys could work.
· Yardage(1): 54”x3Yds or 135cmx2.7M
· Notions: thread, seam binding, 3 or 7 buttons, elastic for waist or cord.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the envelope front. The original sewing pattern pieces are printed tissue paper and should be handled with care. The instruction sheet has a cutting chart, tips and sewing instructions. The envelope back has back view of styles, a guide to pattern pieces, a measurement chart, material requirements and sewing notions.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
*For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
*Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
