A very elegant embroidered blouse with a touch of mystery. Real fashion history. Designed made by the american mail order company Laura Wheeler. A great design for rhinestones & other fab 40s embellishment techniques.
The back buttoning blouse is designed with a high neck, fitted waist, long billowed sleeves, and an optional embroidered yoke, making it a sophisticated piece for various occasions. The unique back buttoning feature adds a touch of mystery. Additionally, the sleeves can be made short, offering the wearer the flexibility to adapt the blouse to different seasons.
Furthermore, the high neck is complemented by a stand-up collar, which enhances the overall elegance of the design while providing a flattering silhouette. The padded shoulders contribute to a structured look, giving the blouse a polished and refined appearance. This attention to detail ensures that the blouse stands out in any wardrobe.
To top it all off, the embroidery transfer allows for the possibility of customization, enabling wearers to express their individual style through choice of colour and thread.

The power of old patterns is the silhouette, most retro patterns lack the authenticity of silhouette. For those who appreciate vintage clothing, a vintage pattern can be the key to creating a fine piece of clothing.

These are originals, not copies. They belong to a large collection of daywear patterns that I have carefully checked and repaired as needed, making them ready for you to create new nostalgic clothing. I have redrawn any missing pieces where possible. I use archival tape for repairs. After pressing and folding, I store the patterns in archival sleeves or bags to prevent further deterioration.
