This original and unused 70s sportswear, beach & knitwear pattern makes a knit top and flared knit pants or two-piece swimsuit (long tank and shorts). The top is back zippered with high cut shoulders, shaped side vents and self fabric tie belt, may have braid trim. pull on pants have elastic in casings. “A POUNDS THINNER PATTERN”
At the moment there are a bunch of beautiful natural knits on the market, which makes this 70s knitwear pattern all the more interesting.

This unused pattern has 5 printed tissue paper pieces in a factory fold, 1 instruction sheet on unbleached paper & the original 4-colour printed envelope with wrinkles & discoloring. This includes a protective archival sleeve or bag & a pattern folder with tips. Please see photos for quality.
· Yardage: (swimsuit) 52”x1-1/2yds or 135cmx1.35m
· Notions: thread; hooks & eyes; (blouse) 20″ neck zipper; (shorts) elastic 1/2″; (pants) elastic 3/4″; braid trim 5/8″.
· Material: knits or jersey; double knit, cotton knits, wool jersey, synthetic jersey. all styles made for unbonded fabric.
FIT
This is a slim-fit style.
Measurements: Bust 34″ or 86cm, Waist 25.5″ or 65cm, Hip 36″ or 91.5cm
USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the pattern cover. The original pieces are printed tissue paper and should be handled with care. The envelope back has a text description of the styles, back view sketches of the styles, pattern piece diagram, material useage charts, the measurement chart of the company, notions needed and material suggestions.
The information sheet shows a general process of construction with some tips. In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit, before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
* For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
* Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
