This cover has an interesting different layout for dubarry patterns, they stopped producing in 1946. A nice tailored design, pretty film noir.
The elegant blouse has a gathered front neck which is finished with a bias binding. Darts fit the waistline to the hem, making it snug at the hip. Fig. I and III: has short sleeves. Fig. II: has bishop sleeves. Fig. I: has a bow and tab which trims front neck edge.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the pattern cover. The original pieces are printed tissue paper and should be handled with care. The envelope back has a text description of the styles, back view sketches of the styles, material useage charts, the measurement chart of the company, pattern pieces diagram, and notions needed. The information sheet shows a general process of construction with some tips.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. You could also make your own triangle shoulder pads. To test the fit, before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
- For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
