It’s lovely how these styles can be fashioned to any look. The mini version of the evening dress in gold & turquoise brocade is super doll-like. While the maxi coat would look very cool in a dark vampire fashion. The “flat-front” dresses are the best for embellishing, lots of room to play around with applique and objects, the deep round neck is also perfect for a dicky.
A-line dress in long or short length, and long coat. dart-fitted dress has center back zipper and faced and interfaced neck, scooped in front. Short dress has bias, short puffed sleeves, gathered into armholes and at lower edge with elastic in casings. Long dress has faced armholes, ribbon sash and lace edging. Lined, dart fitted coat has long raglan sleeves and faced and interfaced high rising neckline. Sleeves are darted at shoulders; coat is closed with purchased frogs.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the pattern cover. The original pieces are printed tissue paper and should be handled with care. The envelope back has a text description of the styles, back view sketches of the styles, material useage charts, the measurement chart of the company, guide to pieces, notions needed and material suggestions. The information sheet shows a general process of construction with some tips + a material cutting guide.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
- For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
