This uncut vintage dress pattern from Advance #9429 makes a classic shirtwaist dress. The bracelet sleeve is a 50s/60s detail, good with longer gloves and, like it’s namesake, perfect for showing off decorative bracelets. This silhouette likes sheers and ethereal prints. The short sleeve version is a no-nonsense style which shines when made with an unexpected material, like wool crepe or iridescent silk.
Shirtwaist…slim skirted and full skirted, both versionshave yoke back. The beauty of the shhirtwaist is that it can be as casual or as elegant as you wish, depensing on the fabric. These beauties are suitable to a wide range.
