This is a very cool iconic style, for a summer traveller. The main illustrated bolero ensemble is elegantly tonal, the cummerbund making the look. Super vogue, super cool.
The bolero or crop mandarine jacket has hook and eye, fold-over closing with frog accents at front with sleeveless or 3/4 length sleeves. Pants and shorts have left side zipper closing. Cummerbund is gathered and has hook and eye closing.

DETAIL
This pattern includes 13 printed tissue paper pieces, the shorts pieces have been roughly cut + repaired, the rest are uncut. Additionally, 1 instruction sheet on unbleached paper- rough around the edges + the damaged 4-colour printed envelope with top front missing; damaged illustration & stamp on front. A colour print-out of the original illustration is included. This is shipped with a protective archival sleeve or bag & a pattern folder with tips. Please see photos for quality.

· Notions: 7″ skirt zipper, 4 frog closings, hooks & eyes, lining or interlining, ribbon seam binding, thread.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the pattern cover. The original pieces are printed tissue paper and should be handled with care. The envelope back has a text description of the styles, front & back view sketches of the styles, material useage charts and notions needed. The information sheet shows a general process of construction with some tips, a guide to the pieces and cutting guides.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
- For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
- Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
