This vintage pattern is for 1957 coordinates. The blouse and skirt in coordinated colors and fabrics also doubles as a dress! Shirtwaist-Blouse with roll-up sleeves has tab trim, double patch pockets, two-way “little-boy” collar, shallow back yoke. Eight-gore skirt with wider waistband has double tabs at front, loops at back. Purchased narrow leather belt.

This restored pattern includes 13 of the 15 original printed tissue paper pattern pieces which have been cut woth pinking sheers & 2 restored tissue paper pieces, one instruction sheet on unbleached paper in english and the original colored pattern envelope with damaged top, sides starting to split, some old tape covered with paper tape and repairs. The
The restored pieces are the pocket K + P belt strap loops & the hem has been cut off the original skirt pattern. Please see photos for quality.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the pattern cover. The original pieces are printed tissue paper, the restored pieces are hand-drawn on tissue paper and both should be handled with care. These are usedd as guuides for cutting your fabric. The envelope back has a text description of the styles, back view sketches of the styles, pattern piece guide, material useage charts, the measurement chart of the company, notions needed and material suggestions. The information sheet shows a general process of construction with some tips.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit, before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
- For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
- Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
