This pattern helps you create a beautifully, masculine or classic 40s post-war robe or dressing gown. This functional style creates a tall silhouette and can be upstyled with a quality material. The dressing gown has two piece sleeves, classic wrap opening, a cord waist tie with belt straps and patch pockets. Shoulder pad instructions are not included, but shoulder pads are most likely necessary for the cut.

USE
This is a tissue paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the instruction sheet. The original pieces are perforated tissue paper and should be handled with care. The instruction has a drawing of the style, size chart, cutting guide, material useage chart, pattern guide & includes the process of construction with some tips.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.

For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
