This original vintage pattern from the UK makes a soft and somewhat relaxed style. A simple, pullover wash frock from the 1940’s. It has a notched collar, short sleeves, a bloused, shirtwaist with a 3 piece skirt and tie drawn waist. This is a great unused pattern from 1942 for a simple spring or summer style.

DETAILS
8 die-cut lightweight paper pieces (factory fold opened) & a pattern folder with instructions in english. Die-cut pieces have no markings but the seam allowance is included. Pattern older has old tape on it & discoloring. Please see photos. Pattern includes a protective storage bag.
· Materials: No suggestions but cottons, linens, rayons, lyocell, silks or mixes of these could work.
· Yardage: 36” x 3-5/8 yds or 130cm x 2.3m
· Notions: thread, snaps, hooks & eyes, canvas for sleeve support.
FIT
This is a relaxed fit dress with regulating waist tie and button front shirt waist.
· Size (34): Bust 34” or 86cm, Hip 38” or 96.5cm
USE
This is a lightweight paper pattern for recreating the styles shown on the instruction sheet. The original pieces are paper and should be handled with care. The instruction has a drawing of the style, cutting guide, material useage chart & includes the process of construction with some tips.
In order to recreate a style you will need to purchase your material, notions and anything you might need for embellishing. To test the fit before using expensive fabric, purchase muslin & recreate the style in a basic version. It is advisable to make a paper copy when resizing or altering the design.
CARE
For small tears, use archival tape or a glue stick & tissue paper.
Store the pattern in its protective sleeve or bag to reduce breakage and further discoloring.
