simplicity #1273; ©1944; bust 32; miss 14: one piece dress pattern:

the workwear dress features buttons down the front and a notched collar. there are tucks at the lower front edge and gathers at the lower back edge of the bodice. the skirt is seamed at either side of the center front and back. interesting pocket-like details are stitched in the shoulder seams and buttoned to the bodice front. style I includes belt flaps that are joined with waistline seams and buttons to the skirt, with topstitching used as an accent. style II has long sleeves finished with a wrist band.

we redesigned and tested a new long sleeve pattern piece in muslin for fit, because the original sleeve was damaged & missing a section. we also created a new piece for the collar (D) in tissue paper, as it was was in poor condition due to old plastic tape. both pieces are included in the revised pattern.

QUALITY:
pieces: 11 perforated; restored two pieces (1) a newly drawn collar (D) piece included, (2) restored long sleeve piece – redrawn from similar pattern.
sheet: pinholes; otherwise good.
envelope: split; repairs, old tape removed; discoloring; stamp; looks pretty bad; in rough shape but useable.
pls see photos for quality.
