mail order #581; circa 1937; miss 16; bust 34″; beautiful bias frock pattern
An early 30s summer style. This beautiful bias frock or sun dress pattern has central seam cuts, creating a graphic effect. The capelet sleeves can be cut short to strap length. This style has a two button closing belt. The designer embellishes the straps and front bodice with optional Ric Rac.
The early 30s bias cut always looks effective with stripes. That’s why I recommend woven stripes for this style.
