simplicity #2017;©1947; women 14; b32″: original 40s shorts, flirty, timeless fashion at it’s best. three ways to sew up shorts. a great pattern consisting of shorts in 3 versions, styled with a pocket and seamed down the center front and back.
style I is a modern-again style with “ease of movement” pleats at front and back and designed for crepes. styles I and III open on the left side with seperate attached waist band. style II is made with an easy elastic case waist, as well as a front pocket with flap. this style is great in silky materials or soft cottons. the dart-fitted shorts, style III, fold at the lower edge to form a cuff, a classic bermuda style, good in chambray, silk-linen and cottons.

pieces: 11 printed; style III cut; most pieces are uncut; discoloring; complete
instruction: feels like it was never unfolded.
envelope: discoloring; flap torn off; rough edges.

please see photos for quality.

the 40s shorts pattern will be shipped in an archival sleeve or bag for storage, as well as a pattern folder designed to be used with your new project. the pattern folder protects the pattern through transport + has a material conversion card, basic resize info, measuring guide, heart form for applique or pockets, tips & mini tutorials for shoulder pads, lingerie straps, scallop tucks, etc.
