advance #7858; ©1956; miss S; b30-32″: this is an original 50s vintage hood & top pattern. although this beatnik pattern is originally intended for woven silks and cottons, not unlike “COS” fashions, these styles are definitely interesting for jersey sewists. the top is a classic t-shirt shape, while the hood would be a great all-season accessory in lightweight jersey, as well as perfect in boiled wool for winter.
