The 1944 coatdress is a notable example of mid-20th century fashion, characterized by its collarless design, which lends a sleek, modern silhouette. It features long, 3/4, or short sleeves, allowing for versatility depending on the season or occasion. The closure, available in either front button or zipper style, offers both practicality and a polished appearance, making it suitable for various settings. the self fabric belt is optional.

Moving on to the blouse portion of the coatdress, it boasts a pleated fitted waist that accentuates the figure, creating an elegant hourglass shape. The inclusion of shoulder pads adds a touch of structure and sophistication, enhancing the overall silhouette while providing a nod to the prevailing fashion trends of the era. Additionally, the stylish flange detail contributes to the garment’s unique character, setting it apart from more conventional designs.
